The administration of conscious sedation or procedural sedation requires careful titration, critical assessment and the ability to rapidly intervene in the event of respiratory or physiologic compromise.
 
Our mission is to transfer knowledge and expertise developed  through years of anesthesia experience to non-anesthesia medical and dental providers. To foster competence and confidence, through continuing education and training, to those involved in the administration of sedation and analgesia.

Our Continuing Education Courses Have Been Approved By:

AAFP This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 16.25 Prescribed  credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Of these credits 7.50 hours conform to the AAFP criteria for evidence based CME clinical content. AAFP Prescribed Credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category I Credit toward the AMA Physicain's Recognition Award. Non-members of the AAFP may claim up to 8.75 hours of AMA PRA Category I credit.

Health Care Facility Staff Credentialing Services & Propofol Training

We are now providing staff credentialing & competency services to hospitals, ambulatory surgery facilities and endoscopy suites.
This program is for facilities to provide privileging and credentialing of non-anesthesia physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists to assure competency in sedation administration services.

We also offer additional comprehensive courses on the administration of propofol to providers who wish to add this to their sedative regimen - advanced airway management training and monitoring component included.
