What is sedation accreditation?
Accreditation is the demonstration that an office, hospital, surgery center, or clinic provides clinical care in a manner that meets standards of the accrediting organization. National accrediting bodies involved in providing accreditation for conscious sedation include the Joint Commission (JC or JCAHO), the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care(AAAHC) and the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF)
