This web based online sedation course has been developed and is presented by an anesthesiologists with many years of clinical experience.
It is appropriate for providers who are involved in the administration, management, monitoring or recovery of sedated patients.
Course consist of 8 video modules that are approximately 1 hour each (total run time of 8:50:21) after viewing each module a 5 question examination will be available and a passing score of 80% will be required to proceed, material will be available for review until an 80% score or better is achieved.
Upon completion of viewing all sedation presentation modules and all examinations a verification form can be printed for CE credit.  All information will be stored in database for a 2 year period that can be accessed by registered users at any time.

Documentation: the physician should self claim credit for appropriate AMA PRA Category 2 Credit™ activities and document activity title or description, subject or content area, date(s) of participation and number of credits claimed. Physicians may not claim AMA PRA Category 2 Credit™ for an activity for which the physician has claimed AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Each physician is responsible for claiming and maintaining a record of their AMA PRA Category 2 Credit™.

Credit calculation: as with live activities, physicians should claim credit based on their participation time with 60 minutes of participation equal to one (1) AMA PRA Category 2 Credit™; credit is claimed in 15 minute or 0.25 credit increments; physicians must round to the nearest quarter hour
